Tomcat

The scent from behind was intoxicating
But rather than offer to clean
He instead offered his teeth
Which subdued her
From her former frantic rolling
To a passive, solemn state
With howls and yowls and distorted meows
He uncorked a private reserve
After the champagne splashed
He darted and dashed
And left her lonely at the curb
