A Concerto in D Minor

The maestro played an organ
Tuned only to imitate gasps
And as he performed a concerto
His finest masterpiece
His audience began to sing
In harmony with his music
Mimicking his songs with dance
At each chorus, at each crescendo
The motif's heightened pitch
Incited mass hysteria
As the imitation grew too rich
