Surveying an audience
Seated near the blinds
In a calm and composed manner
She captures moments in strides
Along the edge of circumstance

Every heartbeat is a dagger
Each breath an anonymous passerby
The floorboards shake at the steps she takes
Her hands shiver and her body quakes
But with a surgeon's touch on vulture's wings

She glides
