On fearful knees
Entering the room
Where the great statue looms
Standing on marble feet
On fearful knees
His steps are free
To pass between the pillars' fiery heat
An altar to his left
Banners to his right
His hiding place undisguised
His watchful, glowing, searing eyes
Silently the unseen uncloak
Cut away pieces of his rope
A seed planted near the river's bottom
A young giant when the sun found Autumn
