On the ears
Of silent whispering
Flick the tongues
Of fiery blistering
As the tears
For loved ones missing
Contrast the cheer
Of lovers kissing
The lost ones gather
Forming an unseen line
Unknown to history
Hidden from time

    I see returning soldiers and families waiting...some in vain. Not a happy picture. Very well written, very emotional.
